Biography:

Rohan sagar is an Embedded Engineer who has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication and a Master's Degree in Embedded Electrical and Computer Systems from San Francisco State University. He was a visiting student at UC Berkeley where he took a course in Embedded Systems. After receiving his Bachelor's degree, he wanted to apply his knowledge to help the Engineering Students learn and invent.

Being born in a family of businessmen, he founded a company called Octagon Electronics and acted as its CEO and Chief Embedded engineer, during which he and his team of engineers designed and manufactured Open-source hardware, shared their knowledge by conducting workshops in Engineering colleges and by offering services that helped students with their projects. He then decided to take a break from business and attain a deeper understanding of embedded systems design, by getting a Masters Degree in Embedded Electrical and Computer Systems at San Francisco State University.

 

During his time at SanFrancisco State University he did several projects and researched the topic of bicycle safety and how to improve it, by applying the concepts of computer engineering. He built a smart-bike that provides a safer ride experience by adding electric assist, smart rear view mirror and lighting modules.  

He is passionate about inventing ,designing and building new applications with existing technology. Therefore, he spends most of his free time trying to invent new and useful devices. He believes that doing so will help him quench his thirst for knowledge and need to invent.
